I’m back! I had a few months delay in working on customer quilts, due to a knee replacement with a few complications and back surgery. All is well and in good shape now. And I am back to quilting full time and trying to catch up.
Pictured in this post are several quilts that were completed prior to my medical leave of absence. These customer quilts were to be gifted to someone, and I never post pictures until the quilts have been delivered.
One quilt is a memory t-shirt quilt that is very special to the recipient. Lyndsey Armstrong and her sister collected shirts from their father’s 25 years of service to the Camp Firefly organization. He began as a volunteer and completed his service there as director. Each quilt represents each year. I’m sure this quilt held many wonderful memories for their father.
The remaining two quilts were made by my very talented cousin Cheryl Joyce. She always creates such beautiful quilts and is a very talented seamstress. It’s always a pleasure for me to quilt these quilts.
