My wonderfully talented cousin Chery Joyce has continued to be busy with her creative quilts, most of which she is gifting to others. The most recent projects have been Sweet Baby Quilts.
Description
Pictured in this post include a little girls quilt, boys quilt featuring trucks and construction vehicles. I added a general floral type quilting for the girl’s quilt and of course, a quilting design with trucks for the boy’s quilt.
Also included with this order was a challenge quilt for Cheryl – a design called Blue Onion. According to Cheryl, at times, the quilt was true to its name in that it brought tears to her eyes. But as usual, the quilt was sewn with quality and accurate stitching.
Twin Baby Quilts plus one
The second set of quilts were created for twin daughters of a cousin of Cheryl’s. These featured a wonderful Dr Seuss fabric, with lovely yellow backing. I added an ABC-123 quilting design. In addition to these twin quilts, Cheryl made a larger version using the same fabric, with an added border. This was accented with a blue backing. All three were so much fun for me to work on.
These sweet baby quilts will certainly by loved by their owners for many years to come. Cheryl continues to share her creative skills with family and friends through her beautiful quilts.
