Described here are two of the final Christmas projects I completed in November/December 2025. Christmas gifts are meant to be a secret, so I never post pictures of them until they have been gifted. I have been notified that all these memory pillows and bears have been received and are being loved.
Project for Nancy Sells
A former local customer Edith Sharpe recommended my work to her friend Nancy Sells. After meeting Nancy and discussing the memory items she wants, Nancy sorted the clothes into groups for tie memory pillows, and later projects of quilts. Her late husband Jim had a large number of ties. For Christmas 2025, Nancy chose to have tie memory pillows made for her three grandchildren.
The Donna Thomas Project
Donna Thomas, also a local resident, gathered various garments from her late father’s clothes and carefully made plans on the memory projects she wanted. She browsed my website to help her decide what design and color combinations she wanted for both the pillows and the bears. Her memory pillows and bears project included 5 pillows, 3 bears, and a table runner. These memory pillows and bears were each unique in style and color, but all hold special memories for their family.
