Kelsi Feltz contacted me in May about creating a memory quilt for her. We discussed several possibilities of styles and sizes. Then due to my waiting list of customers and her wonderful travels, Kelsi’s t-shirt quilt was delayed until August.
Shirts
Her box of T-shirts arrived safely, and in excellent condition. She had rolled the shirts in such a way there were no wrinkles or creases! There were a nice variety of colors and designs. I sent a preliminary design to Kelsi to get her input. She made several very nice changes. At the end of this process, we had a wonderful quilt design.
Completed quilt
The design we chose complimented the logos on the shirt so nicely. There were even four shirts with the number “9” that looked perfect in the corners. The gray sashing between the shirts made the shirts so distinctive and the outer wide border picked up the gray in its fabric. It was a pleasure working on this project. And I feel sure Kelsi’s t-shirt quilt will be a treasure with lots of memories.
