Christmas is always a wonderful season, filled with the joyous story of Jesus’ birth, colors all around, and family. It is an added enjoyment to me to work on quilts for family and friends. So here are more of my customer Christmas 2023 projects.
Riley Harding
Riley sent me a collection of her Dad’s shirts to make into three pillows and a throw-sized quilt. Using squares in the pillows, and rectangles in the quilt, the designs turned out very nicely.
Melissa and Chris Puckett
While helping a friend clean out her late husband’s clothes, Melissa and Chris secretly kept several of his polo shirts, which they brought to me to make a memory throw-sized quilt. The Using blocks with rectangles of the shirts, the quilt design came together nicely.
Mike Gammons
As a surprise for his wife, Mike contacted me about making a memory quilt using t-shirts she had saved. With a variety of bright colors, two Virginia Tech shirts, and one shirt with a printed picture of her grandchildren, the quilt will contain many memories for Mike’s wife.
