I’m talking about a crabby quilt – definitely not a “Crappy” quilt. Cheryl’s wonderful crab quilt is truly a work of art. It was custom designed for her daughter Hannah to give to Hannah’s in-laws. Months ago, Hannah described what she wanted in the quilt, and Cheryl got busy and created this wonderful design.
Description
The front of the quilt features various appliqued crabs stitched onto fabrics. The choice of background fabrics added to the unique quilt design. The back of the quilt was created by Cheryl using several wonderful designs, using the beach theme. I apologize – somehow, I failed to get a picture of the backing. It was quite spectacular and I’m so sorry not to have captured it in print.
Final Quilt
Chery Joyce, a cousin of mine, is truly a gifted quilter, among her many other talents. She has an eye for design and always comes up with unique quilt patterns. Her choice of colors and of fabrics creates such beautiful quilts. Chery’s wonderful crab quilt is outstanding, and I certainly enjoyed quilting it.
