I offer precision machine stitching, and professional quality quilting at reasonable prices. You have a vision for your completed quilt and I will work with you to create that look. In addition, I will strive to make your vision a reality stitch by stitch. I promise to finish your quilt with the same dedication and care in which you created it.
My tools of the trade
As of April 22, 2023, I own a Bernina Q20 Longarm machine, named Elizabeth in honor of my mother and mother-in-law. Both had Elizabeth as middle names, and both were fantastic quilters. I provide affordable longarm quilting and offer computerized edge-to-edge designs. In addition to my large library of quilting designs available, I continually purchase new designs. In addition, I do custom and free-motion designs to compliment your pattern. My home is pet-free and smoke-free. I am located in southside Virginia, in Bassett, VA.
Quilts from Scratch
I also create quilts from start to finish, in all styles – traditional, patchwork, and applique. Your choices of pattern, fabrics, and colors as well as your ideas will dictate the design of your quilt. When all finished, you will have a quilt that will be used, enjoyed, treasured, and handed down through the next generations.
Specialty Quilts
Memory quilts are created using a loved one’s clothes. I work with you to create a pattern and design that you like. I treat the garments with utmost care in making a unique and special heirloom quilt that will be a wonderful treasure for years to come. Other types of memory quilts are created from favorite t-shirts that commemorate special events, locations, or other fond memories. These types of quilts are wonderful ways to create a lasting memory for a child, or for yourself.
